Cost is $175

Contemplative Outreach of Louisville
Our History
Contemplative Outreach of Louisville is a local chapter of Contemplative Outreach, Ltd. Founded in 1984 through the leadership of Fr. Thomas Keating, Contemplative Outreach is a worldwide spiritual network of individuals and small faith communities committed to living the contemplative dimension of the Gospel through the practice of daily Centering Prayer.
In 1993, Centering Prayer group facilitator Ruth Dundon, relocated to Kentucky and met with others who had attended a Centering Prayer workshop lead by Gail Fitzpatrick-Hopler and Fr. Carl Arico in Louisville. A Centering Prayer group was formed and later the same year, CO of Kentucky. In an effort to more clearly indicate our location, our chapter was renamed Contemplative Outreach of Louisville in March, 2018.
Centering Prayer group members are supported through a variety of chapter services: Days of Enrichment and Formation, Introductory Programs, Centering Prayer Retreats and The Bulletin (monthly events). Books and DVDs related to Centering Prayer are available at Cor Unum Spiritual Center, 1908 Tyler Lane, Louisville.
